Akal Sahi, Inc. dba Paramount Windows & Doors is dedicated to delivering custom-crafted
products of the highest quality. We offer a 4-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty, alongside
a 1-Year Limited Fit & Finish Warranty on raw wood products, to ensure customer satisfaction
and product integrity.
These warranties describe your rights and obligations as a customer and outline the limits of our
responsibility. It is essential to read and understand these warranties, as they are the only
warranties, express or implied, that Akal Sahi, Inc. dba Paramount Windows & Doors makes to
you, the customer.
1. Final Sale Policy
• Custom-Crafted Products: All products are made-to-order to your exact specifications.
As such, all sales are final, with no returns or exchanges. Deposits are non-refundable.
• Cut List Approval: Once a cut list is approved in writing, any changes are subject to
additional costs.
• Saltwater Proximity Clause: Products installed within 500 yards of a saltwater shoreline
are covered for half the standard warranty period due to corrosive effects.
• Corrosion Disclaimer: Corrosion or deterioration due to environmental exposure (e.g.,
sunlight, rain, saltwater, or salt spray) is considered normal wear and tear and is
expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
• Natural Disaster Disclaimer: Damage from flooding, fire, earthquakes, or Acts of God is
excluded from this warranty.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
2. 4-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for products
fabricated and assembled on-site.
• Claims Process:
o Claims must be submitted in writing within 4 years (1460 days) of purchase.

o Upon receiving a valid claim, Akal Sahi, Inc. will, at its discretion:
Repair the defective part(s), or
Provide a replacement part within 90 days of receipt of written
notification.
• Replacement Warranty: Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the
original warranty period.
• IMPORTANT: This warranty applies only if the product has been properly installed,
used, and maintained. Proper maintenance is the purchaser's responsibility.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
3. 1-Year Limited Fit & Finish Warranty
This warranty applies to raw wood products and covers Fit & Finish deficiencies in original
materials or workmanship.
• Coverage Period: Begins on the date of purchase and continues for one (1) year unless
otherwise specified by Title 7 of the California Civil Code.
• Fit Deficiencies: Defects in materials or workmanship that affect the functionality or
market value of a feature, product, or component.
• Finish Deficiencies: Visible scuffed, scratched, smudged, chipped, or stained surfaces
but excludes minor imperfections that do not materially detract from the appearance.
• Inspection Requirement: All products must be inspected upon receipt and before
installation or finishing.
• Care and Maintenance:
o Prime and paint all six surfaces (interior, exterior, top, bottom, and sides) within
10 days of receipt using approved materials.
o Reinspect annually and refinish or reseal wood surfaces as needed.
IMPORTANT: Proper installation, use, and maintenance (including moisture sealing) are the
homeowner’s or installer’s responsibility.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
4. Insulating Glass Warranty
• Akal Sahi, Inc. does not manufacture insulated glass.
• No warranty is provided for these components. Warranty claims for insulated glass must
be directed to the original glass manufacturer.

• Proper installation and maintenance, including moisture sealing, are critical to prevent
premature glass failure. These responsibilities lie with the homeowner or installer.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
5. Hardware Warranty (Vinyl, Metal, and Nylon Parts)
• Limited One (1) Year Warranty on Fit and Finish:
o Hardware components are warranted for one (1) year from the purchase date for
manufacturing defects.
o Inspection and Maintenance: Regular lubrication and maintenance are required
to ensure long-term performance.
o Biannual Lubrication: Use silicone spray for hinges and lithium grease for
other hardware.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
6. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
• Products assembled off-site or modified after delivery.
• Damage from misuse, abuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
• Any cuts, painting, or finish work done after delivery.
• Cosmetic issues, normal wear and tear, or damage from extreme environmental
conditions, including saltwater corrosion.
• Natural variations in wood color or texture.
• Acts of God, accidents, or neglect.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
7. Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim, the purchaser must:
• Provide a written statement detailing the defect, including the original job number,
purchase order number, or invoice number.

Note: The manufacturer will deliver the repaired or replacement part(s) free of charge but is not
responsible for labor costs related to removal, installation, finishes, additional shipping or
disposal.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
8. Disclaimer of Other Warranties
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether expressed or implied,
including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
9. Limitation of Liability
• The remedies provided under this warranty are the exclusive and sole remedies
available to the purchaser.
• Akal Sahi, Inc. dba Paramount Windows & Doors shall not be liable for any direct,
indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.

10. Governing Law
This limited warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its
conflict of laws principles.
11. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between Akal Sahi, Inc. dba Paramount
Windows & Doors and the purchaser regarding the warranty. No oral agreements or
modifications are recognized unless made in writing and signed by both parties.
In the event that any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a
Court of competent jurisdiction, then such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this
Agreement and the remaining provisions hereof will continue in full force and effect.
